With the temps getting colder, outdoor shooting has dropped off tremendously. I did have an opportunity recently to work with a model on an outdoor glamour shoot. The model, Danielle Sunley, braved the cold, and provided wonderful inspiration. Together we created some great images. I look forward to working with her again.
The shot was the last of the session and was made at sunset. Lighting was extremely simple, and was something I had wanted to try for some time. A Nikon SB800 was attached to a long background pole and was held almost directly overhead by Danielle's friend, who also was along for her first shoot. The camera was set to commander mode to fire the strobe.
I'll post more images from the session as I get them prepared.
